Zimbabweans under Fire in South Africa

A Zimbabwean man known as Elvis Nyathi has been burnt to death by members of “Operation Dudula” in Diepsloot, South Africa on 6 April 2022.
A group of “Operation Dudula” went to the house of Elvis Nyathi and demanded his passport and they started beating him. They dragged Elvis outside, stoned him and burned him with tyres.
Elvis’ wife, Nomsa Tshuma who witnessed this barbarism and violent death of her husband is traumatized.

Hundreds of Zimbabweans have been displaced in Diepsloot as they are being hunted and attacked. The year 2022 has seen massive violence against Zimbabwean nationals in South Africa.

Due to moral decadence, jealous and envy these groups of unemployed and poverty stricken South Africans have become uncontrollable. They are targeting and killing foreign nationals. Last month in Vereeniging 2 Nigerian Nationals have been killed. Members of “Operation Dudula” are also looting shops and stealing from houses of foreign nationals.

Under the South African law no individual who is not part of law enforcement has right to ask anyone for ID or passport. “Operation Dudula” members are doing that and are harassing employers and stealing from foreigners.
South African Authorities must arrest members of “Operation Dudula” and banish this criminal organisation before it’s too late.
We must always defend and uphold the sanctity of human life.
Zimbabweans displaced in Diepsloot are in need of urgent practical support.
