Massive farm attacks currently happening in South Africa are deplorable. Any country that attacks its farmers is sowing poverty. According to the The Rome Research Institute of South Africa 13 farms were attacked by criminals in December 2021 and one farmer was killed.
According to the same Research Institute in April 2021 – there were 24 farm attacks and 7 farm murders. In August 2021 there were 26 farm attacks and 9 farm murders.
These acts are not just criminal but are cruel in nature. This is contributing to unemployment and disinvestment in South Africa. Its not presence of refugee foreigners.
Investors and foreign governments are watching South Africa and will eventual shun South Africa. The South African government must declare state of emergency over farm murders and save its farmers and the economy.
Its obvious the South African farmers will be communicating with their friends and relatives all over the world about their experience and fears. This will create a situation that chase away investors and tourists from coming to the country.
Also the shutdown of the economy as a measure to curb the spread of corona virus has destroyed the South African economy. Millions of Jobs have been lost as many companies closed down.
These are the problems we should tackle if we want a solution appertain to job creation and economic improvement.
