Statement from Nigerian Citizens Association South Africa

Three Nigerians have been killed by a mob of South Africans, one was killed in Western Cape.
Members of “Operation Dudula” and Put South Africa First are harassing and and attacking foreign nationals everywhere in South Africa.

A Nigerian, Mr Nicholas Omodele was killed by a mob and is survived by a SA wife and four months old babe.
In Vereeniging group taxi owners accused two Nigerians for drugs dealing and killed them.
No arrest has been made so far.

The Nigerian Citizens Association South Africa reported that, “Our lives have no value or so the authorities here have made their citizens to believe, hence they derive joy in the killing of Nigerians and other foreign nationals, who they considered as roaches that have to be exterminated.”

South Africa is heading for more difficult times. Prices of goods are going up. Employment is now scarce. There is no clear solution from the authorities to tackle these problems.

Foreigners in South Africa are now scapegoats for the problems which are occurring due to other factors.
Shut down of the economy to curb Corona Virus has caused massive unemployment as many companies closed down and never to reopen.
Investors are shunning South Africa due to mob violence and crime. White farmers are claiming that murder of farmers is now a genocide.
Many white people with capacity to create more jobs have been killed and some have left South Africa and some have lost interest in improving South Africa.

South Africans must sort their problems being caused by many factors and stop these crusades against foreign nationals.
Zimbabweans are buying too much South African goods and that is helping South Africans.

If Zimbabweans are forced to leave and they become angry and stop buying South African goods the economy will collapse completely.
South Africans should pursue Godliness, respect of refugees/immigrants and build their economy on sound foundation.

Violence begets violence, poverty and misery.
